The Reading festival is the biggest and the oldest festival of reading and leads which contains every type of music. It always took place on the 22, 23, and 24 of august which is the weekend holiday of banks. The reading festival tickets start selling in the last of March i.e., 31st at 6:45 pm which are finished in two hours. One can get it through seatwave but there also these tickets were sold out in 1 hour in 2008’s festival. This it self shows the craze for the festival in people there. This all because of the world class music and various events occur there which attract the people.

2008 is the year when BBC first time introduced it self on the stage of reading festival.
There were many changes in the location of various products and events from one place to other i.e., there were change in position of wristband which were originally in the inner part of the festival but this year it was on the external gates. Various security devices and equipments(Maha Shivaratri Festival in South India) were installed in order to increase the security of the festival. There was the river festival bridge which was over the Thames River, which connects campsite with that of main area of the reading festival.

There were many box office changes which ultimately results in the long queues of the people which was around 50 at some places to buy reading festival ticket. This is also because of the fake ticketing last year through net.
